Graduate Research Assistant Position

Position Description:

A GRA position is available in the School of Biomedical Informatics. The GRA will work with Dr. Luca Giancardo and support data acquisition and development of the next generation of machine learning-based image/signal analysis algorithms for detecting and quantifying neurodegeneration.

Key accountabilities for this position include:

  • Support of data acquisition with collaborators in the Medical School
  • Machine learning models programming/testing
  • Report/paper writing

Salary for these positions is $18 per hour/ 20 hours per week.

Candidate must be currently enrolled and in good standing in a UTHealth graduate program.

Required skills for this position includes experience in Python programming with scientific, machine learning, and deep learning libraries. Knowledge of model application is preferred.
