Job Summary:  The School of Biomedical Informatics is seeking a Personal Computer Specialist II to perform the following duties: Provides expert technical knowledge and skills in implementing and maintaining various software and related applications for personal computer use.

Additional Summary Specific to Job:

  • Provides advanced troubleshooting knowledge around computer and software problems 
  • Prepare new computers and equipment for installation deployment and use 
  • Maintains records on all department equipment and system protocols 
  • Serves as an information resource regarding personal computer hardware, software, and related applications 
  • Provides advanced software support to customers 
  • May be responsible for operation, access and maintenance of telecommunication services. Performs other duties as assigned 


REQUIREMENTS: Associates degree in computer science/technology, or relevant experience in lieu of education. No experience is necessary with an Associate's degree or higher.
Familiar with Windows OS, Mac OS and Dell product line.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience.
