The university will be closed Dec. 26, 2022. SBMI will be open on Dec. 27 - 30 with limited hours and limited staff so please email [email protected] if you need any assistance during those days. • Two-time Alumna Angie Hayes, DHI, ’22, MS ’19 recently earned two new grants from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) via the National Center for Fatality Review and Prevention (NCFRP). The first grant, for disaster related child fatality review, is worth $30,000. Her second grant is worth $50,000 and focuses on sudden unexpected infant death review. In addition to the two new grants, Angie was awarded a CDC grant over the summer to use NLP for an adolescent suicide review to find patterns for intervention.

The new app allows students to access their class schedule, grades, financial aid, and payment plans while on the go. It is?available on both iOS and Android devices by visiting the App Store or Google Play and entering?“UTHealth Student”?into the search.?We invite students to take the mobile app tour, and add the app to their mobile device for important updates from central student services, and to connect with the campus today.

UTHealth Houston’s CPRIT Innovation in Cancer Prevention Research Program for undergraduates in cancer prevention is actively seeking faculty mentors. We encourage all interested faculty members to apply.
