In 2016, it is safe to say, that you know at least one person who regularly uses wearable technology to monitor her or his health. You might even know people who were able to learn extraordinary things by simply monitoring the results of their wearables. Last year, mHealthIntelligence noted that “the Center for Technology and Learning reported that the mHealth monitoring and medical device market may reduce healthcare spending in the US by $200 billion over the next 25 years." As the use of mobile technology grows, we are also seeing a rise in the ways in which the information being gathered can be used more efficiently.
