ADMISSION DEADLINES

ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • Current students in the certificate program applying to the master's program should complete at least 3 classes before applying.
  • It is highly recommended for current students and alumni applying to either the master’s or the doctoral programs to submit at least one reference letter from an faculty member.
  • Dual Degree applicants must submit an application to both the School of Biomedical Informatics and the other participating institution.
  • All Joint programs require pre-applications.

INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS

F1 sponsorship is no longer available for any Non-degree or Certificate programs.

Students on an F1 student visa are not eligible to enroll in the Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics – Applied Track or the Doctorate in Health Informatics program.

Students admitted to the Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics – Research Track or the Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Informatics programs are eligible for F1 sponsorship.

All applicants with international college transcripts must upload a course by course education evaluation report by either or World Education Services (WES ICAP) or Educational Credential Evaluators. The verified transcripts used for the evaluation need to be included with the education evaluation.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) results.
The minimum acceptable score for TOEFL is an 87. The minimum acceptable score on IELTS is a 7.
