Data Scientist
Bio: Qiuhao Lu, Ph.D., is a data scientist at the Center for TEAM-AI. He recently earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Oregon, with a focus on deep learning and Clinical NLP. His research interests lie in applying advanced NLP techniques to healthcare, encompassing external knowledge integration for large language models (LLMs), patient outcomes prediction through clinical notes, textual data augmentation, representation learning for medical ontologies, and the optimization of retrieval-augmented generation tailored for domain-specific knowledge graphs. Dr. Lu is committed to leveraging advanced computational models to enhance healthcare outcomes. As part of his ongoing role, he looks forward to addressing significant challenges in healthcare informatics and developing impactful solutions in the medical domain.
