Ph.D. Student
Bio: Shuyu is a Ph.D. student at the Center for TEAM-AI. He is interested in chronic diseases risks modeling. He is also enthusiastic about designing and developing software tools that can facilitate EHR data mining and streamline various medical processes. Besides, he is driven to enhance the interpretability of AI and machine learning in clinical and healthcare settings and to bridge this gap between complex AI models and end-users. Before coming here, Shuyu holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Pittsburgh and has several years of software development experience.
