An opening for a Graduate Research Assistant position in informatics is available at the School of Biomedical Informatics, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. The successful candidate will work (20 hours/week with GRA benefits) with Dr. Todd R. Johnson assisting with foundational research on developing a framework for systematic yet flexible systems analysis. The applicant should have excellent mathematical and computational skills, including knowledge of Markov models and probabilistic reasoning methods. This research is an extension of the work reported in SYFSA: A Framework for Systematic yet Flexible Systems Analysis.
The position is available for the Summer 2015 and may be continuous depending on funding availability and GRA performance.
