A GRA position is available in McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics at UTHealth Houston, formerly UTHealth Houston School of Biomedical Informatics (SBMI). The GRA will work with Dr. Arif Harmanci on projects related to cancer and single cell genomics.
The available projects aim at development of statistical and machine learning tools for high-throughput genomic data analysis (such as ChIP-Seq, RNA-seq) and development of privacy-enhancing techniques for genomic data analysis.
Candidate must be currently enrolled and in good standing in an UTHealth graduate program. The position is 50-75% effort depending on the commitment level, competency of the student, clearance for work authorization.
