A GRA position is available at the McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics. The position will work with Dr. Jim Zheng to perform the following duties.
Job Description:The student will develop data mining methods and perform large scale data analysis of electronic health records to predict disease risk and to develop effective therapeutics. In addition, the student will help to analyze genomic data for human disease.
Requirements:The candidate must be in a Ph.D. program, and has significant background in quantitative science (applied math and statistics preferred) with experience in analyzing health record data.
