Teaching Assistantship

HI 5001: Clinical Decision Support Systems

As a TA, you are expected to assist the course instructor in many aspects of teaching, including providing support to students, grading homework, leading lab sessions, and other duties as assigned (which may include assisting other courses). Teaching Assistants in-state tuition and fees will be paid for the Summer 2013 semester up to 9 credit hours. 

The position will be filled immediately, and School of Biomedical Informatics students are welcome to apply. To become a TA, you must: 

  • be currently enrolled and in good standing at SBMI
  • have previously taken the course in which you are applying to be the TA, an equivalent or higher level course, and have gained a grade of "A” to be eligible for consideration 
  • priority is given to School of Biomedical Informatics PhD students 
  • familiarity with Moodle is recommended
