Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) Position Available

Location:                       McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston

Type of position:         20 hours/week on a hybrid schedule with GRA benefits

Timeline to start:         As soon as possible

As a GRA, you will support data management, and analysis efforts in the Fetal Institute. You will assist with managing, preparing, and analyzing clinical/translational research data for ongoing projects as assigned; and assist with updating and maintaining comprehensive database (for data quality and integrity) and reports/dashboards. Regular documentation and reporting will be required.

The candidate must display a good understanding of biomedical informatics/statistics, data science, and healthcare. Strong computer skills are required for this position, proficiency in Excel, R/Python, and PowerBI is preferred. You must be able to follow detailed directions and document your results. This position requires an individual who has strong work and research ethics, is dependable and accountable, and is able to work both independently and as part of a team.
