Coursera is Now Available for UTHealth Houston Students

Using Cisco in Conference Rooms for Teams Meetings

UTHealth Houston Teams meetings now have a SIP address thanks to the recent purchase of Cisco CVI licenses. This means that McWilliams conference rooms can now dial into a Teams meeting using the Cisco codecs in the room. If your Teams meeting does not have a SIP address, then the meeting must be re-created.

To locate the SIP number in your Teams meeting, click on the meeting to get more details. Look for the "Join on a video conferencing device" then locate the "Video ID." This is the SIP address. On a Cisco touch panel in the conference room, click on "call" and then enter the SIP number in the following format: VideoID[email protected] (note that there is no space in video ID).

If you need any further assistance, send a ticket to [email protected].
