Cui Tao, PhD elected to American College of Medical Informatics

SBMI would like to congratulate Professor Cui Tao, PhD as she was elected to be a Fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics (ACMI).

The College of elected Fellows is comprised of scholars and industry practitioners from across North America and the globe. Each Fellow has made significant and sustained contributions and advancements in the field of biomedical informatics.  ACMI Fellows are elected by their peers and each has a commitment to advancing the informatics field.

Several other SBMI faculty members are also ACMI Fellows including Elmer Bernstam, MD, MSE (inducted in 2010) Dean Sittig, PhD (1992), Hua Xu, PhD (2014) and Dean Jiajie Zhang, PhD (2003). Tao, and all other new fellows, will be inducted into the College at the annual reception during the AMIA Annual Symposium on Nov. 4 in San Francisco.
