Job Summary:

The School of Biomedical Informatics is seeking an E-Learning Developer I to provide instructional design and technical support for educational technology systems to faculty, staff and students on a school-wide basis.

Provides technical support for educational technology systems to faculty, staff and students on a school-wide basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Instructs and supports faculty in the use of Learning Management Systems
• Provide design and production advice to faculty in creation, migration and maintenance of online courses for graduate level programs
• Supports faculty, staff and students in their use of hardware and software required for education
• Uses e-learning authoring software to create teaching and training tools; develops training activities for online courses
• Assists evaluation, implementation, testing and support of school-wide educational technology systems
• Assists in the determination of support and training needs for educational technology, including the development of online training courses
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional / Educational Technology or related field or relevant work experience in lieu of education.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
One year of related experience.

Must have at least one year of experience with preparing, supporting and teaching courses in Canvas, Moodle or similar e-learning management system. Must be familiar with ticketing systems. Must have excellent communication skills.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience
