Fall 2021 Poster Session Winner

SBMI hosted another virtual poster session on Dec. 13 as over thirty student research posters were presented. We want to thank all the students for their hard work and flexibility in presenting posters virtually. We also want to thank the faculty judges for their valuable time and all other visitors who stopped by the rooms while students presented.

Please join us in congratulating the fall 2021 poster session winner – Poonam Desai (PhD Student). Her poster is titled “Classification of Epithelial-Mesenchymal Cells Using scRNAseq” and has won the Paul C. Boyle Award for Excellence in Research for this semester.

SBMI Bragging Points

Through the grant funds, the team will assess the efficacy of integrating police agencies into a multi-prong strategy for addressing substance use and addiction across the community.
  • SBMI PhD Candidate Sarvesh Soni has been named a member of the 2022-2023 JAMIA Student Editorial Board (SEB).
  • Associate Dean for Academic and Curricular Affairs Susan Fenton, PhD was featured in a CAHIIM Live interview earlier this month.
