Fall 2025 Course Registration Now Open

Regular registration for Fall 2025 is currently open and ends on in myUTH. If you have questions regarding registration, please email the Office of Academic Affairs at [email protected].

For fall 2025, McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics at UTHealth Houston courses will be taught both in-person and online. Students registered for in-person classes are expected to attend the on-campus sessions during the scheduled time and day each week. Students enrolled in web-based classes will complete all coursework 100% online.

The fall 2025 semester will begin on Monday, Aug. 25. For a full list of courses offered in the fall, visit the Semester Schedule webpage.

McWilliams Bragging Points

Members of our McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics Community have recently achieved noteworthy accomplishments. We want to recognize and applaud these individuals.

  • We are proud to announce that Morgan Foreman successfully defended her dissertation on July 3. She will become a PhD Graduate this coming August so join us in congratulating her!
  • Congratulations to DHI Candidate Aiman Alrawabdeh as he successfully defended his Translational Project on July 10 and will earn his degree next month.
  • McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics Senior Administrative Manager Martha Shumaker recently received an employee spotlight award at the University Classified Staff Council’s Annual workshop. Martha is the heartbeat of the Office of Academic Affairs and does an incredible job keeping our office running smoothly. Please help us congratulate her on this well-deserved award.

Federal Trade Commission data from March of this year shows that consumers reported losing more than $12.5 billion to fraud in 2024. Professor Jim Langabeer, PhD, EdD, MBA, EMT, recently wrote an article for Psychology Today exploring why people fall for fraudulent schemes.
