The Clinical Informatics Fellowship Program (CIFP) is an ACGME accredited program jointly provided by UTHealth Houston, UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Memorial Hermann Health System.
UTHealth® Houston is the lead institution, and fellows will rotate through UTHealth® Houston (Epic EHR), Memorial Hermann Health System (Cerner EHR), and the MD Anderson Cancer Center (Epic EHR), with the overall goal of exposing fellows to multiple EHR systems and informatics approaches.
CIFP fellows will take didactic courses and participate in research activities at McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics at UTHealth Houston, formerly UTHealth Houston School of Biomedical Informatics (SBMI). The following are the Required Courses for Fellows Accepted to the Clinical Informatics Program.
