What is Health Informatics?

An evolving discipline that combines computer science and communication technologies with biological and cognitive sciences, the field of health informatics is growing exponentially and has become a key component to addressing today’s health care challenges. Prospective students who choose UTHealth’s School of Biomedical Informatics (SBMI) will lead the way, helping to define the future of health care.

    Application Deadline for Summer 2015 enrollment: March 15, 2015

All applications for admission to the Summer 2015 semester to the certificate program, Master of Science program and Dual Degree program must be submitted by March 15, 2015. Applications for Fall 2015 admission to the doctoral program are due March 15, 2015.

Application criteria may vary depending on the program you wish to be admitted to. Please see all program admissions requirements for more information.
